At The Outset, My Special Thanks to AK Singh For A Perfect Unlocking Solution.

I confirmed that the Vodafone K3770-Z Device using Unicom Dashboard (MF186) is working very well with BSNL, VODAFONE and TATA DOCOMO except AIRTEL.

Any help towards connecting AIRTEL shall be highly appreciated.

My device worked well after flashing....
Then I tried to revert back to original vodafone firmware.

Then the error starts... stopped at 98%
writing record success.... FAIL!
In other computers not even detecting... solved by installing drivers...
Now only windows dialup only works...
None of the dashboard detecting the device... and not showing the drive when connecting...

What to do??? PLS HELP

use fresh pc (windows 7 32-bit)

- first install vodafone dashboard (original)
- second install a k singh dashboard / nirov soni dasboad (for drivers)
- reboot system / pc
- plug your modem
- just write (unlock) your modam with a.k.singh / nirav soni tool (ORIGINAL DASBOARD)
- 100 % sucess without any error
- tested

done everything...
even reinstalled windows..

Dashboard detecting modem and connecting...
windows dailup also detecting the modem and connection OK.

ONLY Problem is... NO firmwares in the netsetter... i.e., not mounting...
i have to install all the drivers separately.
how to reflash with the dashboard installer and drivers...?

¦Note:-
¦ Plug in K3770z Dongle into USB port
¦ Let the modem install original software with drivers
¦ check in device manager for all installed ports
¦ Now uninstall the original vodafone software
¦ Open K3770z downloader_tool.exe, Which you downloaded
¦ Ignore any errors wait till downloader detects port and modem version
¦ Click on software version
¦ Browse to Unlock_file folder
¦ Click the big arrow button next to version info window
¦ Flashing will be started in a Second
¦ After The Flashing is complted it will say “Flashed Successfully”
¦ Now remove old Dashboard(installers)
¦ Replug modem and wait few seconds proceed with new cd install

¦ Warning : For proper functioning of modem, download tool must show pass(green).

If download Tool shows fail (98%) mostly
¦ Uninstall all dashboard
¦ Give path of Drivers and check which best suits your modem to flash the firmware successfuly.
¦ run cc cleaner
¦ Reboot Your PC/Labtop
¦ Plug Modem and Prepare modem to flash with Original Firmware see - Restore Original State (vodafone)

Some more Resolutions !!!

Remove all previous dashboards,installers or drivers
Plug in modem Ignore cd installer just give appropriate drivers
Eg. if modem ask for
MF186 give this driver http://rghost.net/42888305
for MF192 give http://rghost.net/42888265
for
Original state modem (vodafone) give http://rghost.net/42936929
Restart PC
Go to MY Computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager
Check your modem must have created Ports.

Now open downloader wait for detection browse to desired unlock
firmware dashboard and flash modem

Above procedure is 10000000% tested
Still You fail just check your PC/Labtop

Note : In china dashboard one need to change settings in dashboard for proper modem detection.

Best way to cure failed 98% flashed modem

- remove all dashboard/installers from PC
- reboot PC
- plug in modem
- if modem open original dashboard Install it(Vodafone Installer) not from modem cd, let the pc prepare all modem ports
- run downloader , browse to Original Vodafone file -flash the modem, if fails at 98% ,replug modem flash again with same original firmware

This time you il get 100% passed flashing
- now replug and flash your modem with Unlock method 1 or method 2
