NCK smart card issue [SOLVED] - GSM-Forum

Hi guys,

Ive been using the GPG black and silver NCK box for about 2 years, for the past few weeks I didnt use it, today I try to run the software and it keeps saying smart card not found, I installed on new clean PC and the same issue, please can someone help me?

I have windows 10 64 bit operating system

Try to install card in another card reader.
Try also to clean smart card contacts, this also can be a problem.

Hi,

There is no smartcard inside my box, is that normal? :S Ive never seen it or removed it.

If no any smart card inside, this is reason for your "smart card not found" error.
Posible somebody removed your smart card.

this box have 2 smart card slots 1 inside the box 1 outside usually the card is inside the box so you need to open the box to check that

I think you guys are right someone has removed my smart cards

Where can I get a replacement from in the UK ?

take the pcb out of box shell and check at the bottom of it

Thanks, ive opened it and Ive found it has a smart card inside it:

I removed it, give it a clean and put it back inside but still same error, any advice?

Thanks for your help supporters, ive just managed to fix it, cannot believe it was a faulty USB cable which connected it to the PC, weird never came across this before, I hope this helps anyone else with the same issue.

This is why i'am sugested to try on other reader.
