I need help rooting my zte z812 android version 5.1, does anyone know a way to do this without using a PC?

try to use the KingRoot.apk for rooting.

didnt work ive try everthing so far and failed at rooting this phone

Try this.....

Enable Engineering Mode......*983*673636#...
Then go in option Log and Debugging....and searchy option User2Root and enable...then try root...use kingo root,use vroot,use king root,...etc...

try to kinggo root. firts go to setting then about tick build number 7times then go
setting youthe developertick also usb on enble usb debug.. thkna and advance..
