Zte blade s6 help needed

Hi

I recently tried to upgrade the firmware on my ZTE Blade S6.

I used the option to upgrade on the phone from SD CARD.

However, I used the wrong upgrade file - used the UK version instead of China version and now the phone is unusable.

Stuck in power off mode - just blank screen.

The blue light on the home button comes on when plugged into the charger.

Cannot access download mode by holding power and volume up button.

Is there anyway to fix this? Can anyone help?

Please post here or send me a message

ZTE Customer Services are a waste of time.

I don't know what you mean by recovery mode?
If you mean the MENU you get into when you hold power button and volume up button then no, that is not working. Can't get phone into that mode.

Phone is Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 cpu,
and without factory loaders, hardly that you can recover it.

So, visit some zte service centre / customer care,
and tell them that phone just powered off itself.

p.s. I found on other forum, some info about forced update,
if your phone will accept it ... take a try, nothing to loose.

Quote:
1. Extract the file from the downloaded firmware update.zip to any location on the computer. It is also necessary to check in update.zip was no second update.zip!
2. Prepare the micro sd card. The map should be at least 1 GB, formatted in FAT32.
3. At the root of micro sd card previously extracted archive copy update.zip (can be copied via the USB cable directly to your phone, unless the phone works).
4. Remove from the phone SIM-card and insert the prepared micro sd card into the phone.
5. On the phone off we press the volume up key and the power button and hold, as soon as the screen lights up, release the power button while continuing to hold the volume up until the phone will go to the recovery menu.
6. Menu items are selected volume rocker. Press repeatedly button Volume down, having reached the last item apply update from sd card (apply the update on a memory card) and press the power button once.
7. Push the button Volume down by update.zip file and once we press the power button.
8. We are waiting for a few minutes until the phone sewn.
9. After the firmware will take you back to recovery menu. Now you need to select reboot system now (restart the system immediately).
10. Wait inclusion smartphone.
11. Set up the phone for the first run (after the purchase and inclusion), follow the prompts on the screen.
12. After the first start you must do a hard reset. To do this, go to Settings, recovery and disposal and choose a factory reset. After the reset, the phone is ready for use.
Restore saved data will be described.
Of course, stock ROM download HERE (For UK).
