I have a zte kis3 mobile phone on payg on virgin network. My child was messing with my phone, and now I cant use it. I get the message "the slot has been permanently locked". I rang virgin, they told me there is nothing I can do, but perhaps send the phone in for repair, but said it might be just as cheap to go out and buy another phone. Can anyone on here plz tell me if this can be resolved. The phone is like new, and I don't have money to go and buy another mobile. Thank you

download and follow the instructions in zip file
copy update.zip to external card and reboot into recovery by volume up and power

Do I download this to my mobile,or pc then connect my mobile via usb? Not the cleverest person when it comes to things like this.

download to your pc... unzip file and copy update.zip to external card
insert sdcard to mobile and enter recovery menu with volume up and power combo
select update from external sdcard and select update.zip
