Huawei LYA-L29 bootloader unlock - GSM-Forum

Hi guys !

I have a Mate 20 Pro (LYA-L29) and I want to unlock the bootloader.
I tried already with hcu app but, unfortunately, the device is not supported.

Did you have any other ideas?

currently not possible with any tool, unlock codes are not currently available

Ok, thx for your response. I can see that you're saying "Currently"..did you have any idea when will it be possible?

sorry i dont, they have randomly become available in the past but there seems to be no real pattern to it, sometimes unlock providers will suddenly offer it then it will disappear as suddenly as it arrived.

huawei have stopped unlocking bootloaders altogether at the moment, even internally, no word on if/when they will actualy open it up to the public again, its probably more likely that someone will find some sort of exploit to make it possible
