Root Micromax Canvas 2 A110 Android Phone on any Firmware– Guide

Before Start Make Sure:
Disable all the antivirus suites in your device and computer. Also, make sure that battery life is more than 30%. From the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging”, enable the USB Debugging, ensure that the USB debugging option is ticked.


Procedure to Root Micromax A110 Canvas Android Phone:

*Download the Rooting Package of Micromax A110 Canvas from here to your computer. Once downloaded, you need to extract the same to get the below mentioned files.



*From the extracted folder, click on “RunMe.bat” to open the same in your computer. Once the Rooting tool opens up you need to follow the on screen instructions for rooting the device. Connect your device to the computer with the help of original USB cable and then press 1 and press Enter to start the process of Rooting.



Note: Just in a rare case if the device doesn’t boot up or show the home screen then remove the battery and reinsert the same to boot the device again in the normal mode.

To check on whether your phone is rooted or not, download the “Root Checker” app from the Google PLAY Store. If your device is rooted your device will show that the device is rooted and if it’s not then you will have to again try rooting the device.

1.Download and extract this zip file: Root_script_by_Bin4ry_v18.zip
2.Enable USB debugging on your Micromax A89 Ninja. (Go to Settings > Developer Options > Check mark “USB Debugging” and then tap OK button.
3.Now connect your Micromax A89 Ninja to your computer using your USB cable. The drivers should be installed automatically or use official Micromax drivers. (or you could also use Pdanet to install drivers)
4.Change the mode of your device from USB storage to Media Device and then proceed further. This option appears only when you connect your device to your PC.
5.Go to the folder named “Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v18″ and run the “Runme.bat” file.



Now you will be able to see a popup screen with Green Text on black background like bellow picture. Don’t get freaked its nuthing just a cmd window.



6.Now Type “1” & hit Enter (To Choose Normal mode)
7.Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the A89 Ninja rooting process. Your will reboot during the process after which Bin4ry will copy some files to your device.
8. When your phone is back ON, you should find the superuser SU app in your app drawer.
9.Enjoy your rooted phone

Root And Install CWM Recovery On Micromax A116 Canvas HD

Warning: Please carefully understand what you are proceeding with and where it will lead you to. Further, you should not blame us for nay consequences you face.

Pre-Requisites:

Essential Steps need to be followed before Rooting your Micromax A116 Canvas HD

Step 1: Data’s are precious, therefore you should fully backup your Android device before rooting it.

Step 2: You will have enable USB Debugging on your device. To do so, go to “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging”. The checkbox beside USB Debugging should be ticked.

Step 3: You should charge your device so that there is 60% or more amount of battery charge on your device.

Step 4: You will have to disable security apps and programs like Antivirus and Firewall from your device for the time being i.e. Until the rooting procedure has completed.

Step 5: Download USB Drivers (ADB and Fastboot) for your Android device to make it compatible with Windows.

Download Drivers Package, Root Package1, Root Package2 and CWM Recovery Image from here to your computer. Install the Drivers package on your PC so as to have all the drivers for your Canvas HD on your PC. Place the “Root Package1” and “Root Package2” into the root directory of your phone’s SD Card.

How to Install CWM Recovery on Micromax A116 Canvas HD

Download SP Flash Tool and MT6589 Scatter Text from here to your computer.

Step 1: First of all, double-click on the “Flash_Tool” to launch it.

Step 2: From the application that opens up, click on “Scatter-loading” and then choose the “MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt” file.

Step 3: Now, click on “Recovery” and then choose the “recovery.img” file that you have downloaded earlier. Ensure that only “Recovery” option is checked.

Step 4: Next, go to “Options > Check USB Mode. Also again go to Options > DA Download All > Speed > Force to high speed”.

Step 5: Now, take out the Battery, SD Card and SIM Card out of your phone.

Step 6: Next, click on “”Download Button” from the SP Flash tool window. Just ignore if you see any prompts and then proceed with flashing of CWM image.

Step 7: Now, connect your phone to the PC by taking out all the components like: Battery, SIM card and all. The flashing process will begin.

Step 8: As soon as the process has completed, you will see a small window, assuring the completion of the process.

Step 9: Now, reassemble your phone by putting in the battery, SIM Card and SD Card.

Step 10: Next, reboot your device so as to enter it in Recovery Mode. To do so, press and hold the Volume Up + Volume Down + Power buttons together until the screen turns ON. Then, choose the Recovery Mode in the screen that follows.

Step 11: When you see the recovery screen, use volume up key for moving up the menu and volume down key for going down the menu. To choose an option, press the power button.

How to Root Micromax A116 Canvas HD:

Step 1: Reboot your phone and enter it in ClockworkMod Recovery.

Step 2: Now, from the main recovery menu, select “install zip from sdcard” then select “choose zip from sdcard” and then select the “Root Package1”.

Step 3: When the flashing process has completed, flash the “Root Package2” in similar manner as you have flashed the “Root Package1”.

Step 4: As soon as the flashing process has completed, reboot your phone.

Step 5: Check whether the “SuperUser” app is there in the app drawer or not.

That’s it! Your have successfully rooted your Micromax A116 Canvas HD and installed ClockworkMod Recovery onto it. Do let us know if you have any queries, we will try to resolve the same.

Micromax Funboo Infinity P275 Rooting

1) Download the file Download Root with Restore by Bin4ry -FunbookGp.********.com.7z

2) Open the downloaded file and double-click on RunMe.bat (for windows users) and RunMe.sh (for linux users).

3) Now open the tab, connect the USB cable and then select "USB debugging mode". Please don't choose file transfer or something.

4) When the application is launched, there will be 3 options
1. Normal
2. Special (for sony phones and tabs)
3. Unroot

5) Choose option 1.

6) After that, follow the on-screen instructions and during the rooting process the application will prompt for data restore ( it will show up in the tab).

7) Touch the "Restore my data" option.

8) Wait for the process to complete and when its completed it'll give an option for "press any key to continue".

9) Wait for the device to get restarted, don't do it yourself its automatic.

10) Check out the "SuperSU" icon in the app drawer.

How to root Micromax A50

This tutorial will tell you how to root your Micromax A50.

• So lets get started!
• Make sure you are not low on battery.
• Make sure your device is completely switched off.
• Take off your battery and put it back on,BUT DO NOT TURN ON THE DEVICE.

FIRST STEP :
Download the files

STEP 2 :
Setting Up Things
Extract all the files from the rar package above.After extracting it should look like this :



Now extract files from "mt65x3-usb-vcom-drivers.rar" and open InstallDriver.exe,It will install the drivers needed for the Flashing Process.(Open installdrv64.exe if you have a 64-bit system)

Now open "SP Flash Tool v2.1134.00.7z" and extract the contents to a new folder.
This is the software that you will use for the flashing process.

Now you need to install UnLock Root.This is the software that will root your Device.Open "unlockroot23.exe" and install it.

MT6573_Android_scatter is needed for starting the flashing process.

usb_driver.zip will stay there for now,But you will need it later.This zip file contains the ADB Drivers that is required for the rooting process.

orginal a50 boot.img folder contains the stock boot.img file of A50.So if anything goes wrong and your phone is not booting up,You can flash this file,and it'll be back to normal.

STEP 3:
Flashing Insecure boot.img
After you've done setting up things,it's time for flashing!
Open SP Flash Tool (Flash_tool.exe),
And Select File>Open Scatter loading file and select MT6573_Android_scatter.txt.And Uncheck everything on the list for now.



Ignore any errors that will pop up like these :

Single click on BOOTIMG and select the boot.img provided in the package.

Take out the battery, put it back and without turning on the device Connect it to your PC with the USB cable without pressing any button on the phone. Now windows should find the drivers and install it. After drivers are installed, unplug the cable from your phone. Take out the battery from the phone and put it back again. Do not switch on.

After you've done that,Hit F9 or Click on the "Download" button.



Then under
15 seconds,connect your device to the PC.You will see a yellow progress bar,When it reaches 100% a pop up window will appear saying BOOTIMG downloaded.
Now that you've successfully flashed the boot.img,Unplug your phone, take the battery out, put it back and start the phone normally as you do. Let it fully boot.

STEP 4:
Rooting Process

Now your device is ready to root! In your device Do the following
Go to settings->Applications->Check unknown sources.
Go to settings->Applications->Development->Check USB Debugging.



Now you need to install ADB Drivers,First Extract 'usb_driver.zip'.To install ADB Drivers,Plug in your device to your PC,without turning it off,And do not mount SD Card.When you plug in,Windows will try to find drivers for "MICROMAX A50" and will simply fail.Don't Freak Out,Now go to Device Manager From Start Menu,Right click on 'Micromax A50' and click 'Update Driver Software'.On the new window, click 'Browse my computer for driver software', then click 'Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer'.Click 'Have Disk'. On the new Pop-up window, click 'Browse'And select 'android_winusb.inf' from the folder you extracted from 'usb_driver.zip'.Now,From the list,Select Android ADB Interface and click next,A Warning will pop up saying "Would you like to install this device driver software. Click Install.And the drivers will be installed.Thanks to kankfraud for providing drivers.

Open unlock root on your PC and click on ROOT!The program will root your device.When finished,it will ask you to restart your phone. So switch it off and switch it on again.

Now go through your Appdrawyer,You should find an application called Superuser.If you do,Then your device has been rooted!

This rooting method has been tested me.I'm not responsible if something happens to your device.

DRIVER INSTALLATION GUIDE

1 download attached driver and extract
2 enable usb debugging and dail #*20110606# on your phone
3 select 1st option and click on ON
4 now your phone will reboot but before it reboots connect your phone to pc bya usb
5 windows will search for driver and fails
6 now go to device manager and manually install each driver (update driver -> browse my computer -> select extracted folder ->done)
