Member: 1938435 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 208 | There was a glitch in the ID/pass that required you to enter the first ever Apple ID used in the app store rather than the iCloud, but now you need just the iCloud email/pass attached to the device. I suggest everyone apply the iTunes backup restore trick to remove the iCloud(you should enter your own after to be safe) when updated to iOS 9.3.1. Note that the iCloud isn't removed on the server if you ever factory reset/restore, but will get you through updating. It's very easy to do(takes about 2 minutes). I hope it hasn't been patched in iOS 9.3.1. If you're on older iOS 8.x and want to update, you might be able to use the restore from backup trick if you aren't required to enter an iCloud ID/pass if no ID has been setup locally on the device(although always original iCloud is attached to Apple server). I can test later today to confirm. |
