Savethemblobs is a scripting tool that used to save and extract SHSH Blob from all Apple devices. If you jailbreak your iDevice, cydia will save the SHSH Blob file for you automatically. At this time, you can use Savethemblobs to save and extract iDevice’s SHSH blob to your computer, and then it can be used with other downgrade tools.

Preparation:

* You need to prepare a Mac or a personal computer.

* You need to prepare an iPhone or an iPad.

* A USB cable is needed.

* If your computer is equipped with windows operating system, you need to install Python2 on it.

Step1: Download this tool.

Step2: Open the terminal and enter the following command.

Sudo easy_install pip

Step3: Enter your administrator password, you can’t see any letter you entered on the screen, just enter it.

Step4: Enter this order Sudo easy_install pip again.

Step5: After installing Python2, you need to put the whole requests file to the installation directory under /Lib/site-packages of Python.

Step6: Come to the Savethemblobs folder.

For windows operating system: press Shift -> right click on the and select Start command-line.

For Mac: If you didn’t move it out from Downloads, you may get the command like this: cd/Users/**(your user name)**/Downloads/savethemblobs-master.

After open the terminal, you need to enter a blank space, and put savethemblobs to the terminal.

Step7: Enter the following commands to extract SHSH.

./savethemblobs.py **（your iDevice’s ECID in decimal format）** ** (your iDevice’s product type)**

Step8: Select the option Go at the top part of your desktop, and then select the folder and enter ~/.shsh. Now you’re able to see the SHSH you’ve saved.
