For people who want to unlock 3GS without WiFi...

Here r the .deb files of UltraSn0w 1.2.8 & MobileSubstrate 0.9.3999.6

Use itools n goto...
>var >root >media >Cydia >AutoInstall
then copy these files in AutoInstall folder.
Restart ur phone twice n done

Use redsn0w to boot ur phone when u restart it.

i today jailbreak and unlock 3gs on 6.1.3...also got network..but when i restart again no service...i then just boot..again find network....is it means i have to "just boot" every timec when i restart my iphone to get network ????? plz clearify..thanks.

Yes, u have to use redsn0w to boot the phone everytime u restart. This is bcoz it is a tethered jailbreak...

-again click on "select ISPW"
-select 6.0
-then click on "just boot"
-follow the steps to enter DFU mode.

Once the above process is done, u will find cydia on ur phone, open cydia n install ultrasn0w 1.2.8. U will have ur phone unlocked.

This is a tethered jailbreak

If ur phone is searchig for network even without the sim card after the above process then simply install the ipad baseband again n it will work fine...

I have a problem with a 3gs 6.1.3
1. I udowngraded BB using reds0w 0.9.15b3 ..all OK
2. opened reds0w chose ios 6.0 .. ok
3. clicked jb .ok
4. had the cydia ticked..ok
5. put into dfu mode ..ok
6. it did the first part and at the first reboot stage indicated exploit failed !

Where did I go wrong ?
