3g patch applied and iroostool installed and 3g in iroostool applied as well but still no 3G but only E, I believe 3G PATCH will not work anymore so my question is has anyone come through a similar situations the mine and always we are talking on ios 7.1 , 7.1.1 7.1.2 and not lower which we know it works?

I use iRose on 7.1.1 & 7.1.2. It works fine for 3G with 128K SIM. Are you jailbreaking or not? Make sure you choose Mode2 after jailbreak, Mode3 without jailbreak.

Good to know that 3g is still active with the patch, although the one I have was jailbroken and the 3g patch was installed and the 3g in iroostool was applied but still no go , it could be a sim card issue.

FYI,

i4s verizon no need jailbrake,patch or anything.
just pulg and play,everthing working.
ussd not working,cause this required edit system file.
with jailbrake its easy fix.

HAHAHA After trying the tree modes I just figured out that the only mode that you could get the 3g was the mode 2 while before on ios 7.0.6 and prior it used to be mode 3 and mode 2 but now it works only on mode 2.

Mode3 should have only got 2G with 128K SIM. I forgot that it acts just like the RSIM 9/Mini in Mode3. Mode2 with jailbreak is the best way to go for 3G.

Mode 3 was working good with 3g on ios 7.0.6 and prior though but not anymore for ios 7.1 and up, although luckily we still have mode 2 that works good like a champ on ios 7.1 and up ...lol.
