Can I update r-sim mini 1 to rsim mini 2 (v9.8) ? - GSM-Forum

Hi, I have the first generation of rsim mini and I just received an iPhone 5S sprint. Can I update this rsim with the dongler to v9.8 or I have to buy new rsim mini 2?

Yep, I updated 4 with the code before it timed out although I only was able to update one with 5 codes before that, so I guess we're even. It's just tricky to get the timing down, so make sure you have a couple codes on hand.

Also, what country are you in? Sprint 5S/5C unlock is not stable in the US and many other countries.

I have only 2 codes and every time says incorrect code. Why?

The codes are wrong or expired. You need new codes. Make sure you are ready to update prior to entering the code. That means no yellow marks in device manager and correct com port selected.

as far as i know, the mini program can be updated to mini2 program. in this case, two tools are a must: one is the dongle, and the other is the updating code for dongle.
here is the instructions if you are a freshman: RSIM 9 PRO mini air,R-SIM8+,SAMSIM,3G,R-SIM5+,R-SIM6,RSIM5+,RSIM6,RSIM7,R-SIM7+?Unlock,iPhone5,iPhone4S,Firmware,Any version, No jailbreak
