Member: 2180962 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 21 | Catalog of all the mainly RSIMs---functions and differences RSIM Mini/Mini+(stop producing now) & RSIM 9 Pro. These two chips continue to work on the iPhone 5 & 4S although I highly recommend the first edition Air or the GPP for 4S, especially now that a jailbreak is available. RSIM released the Mini 2(9.2) & R-SIM 9 Gold to address the lack of functionality on GSM iPhone 5C/5S, but people experienced mix results depending on the country and SIM card being used. The current version is 9.8, which can provide better signal stability. Shortly after, RSIM released the Air 2(8.9) & (1.0) to address activation issues with Sprint 5C/5S. There were some positive results, but most people struggled to get them working. With the jailbreak, we can now activate the phones and have relatively stable Edge signal, but 3G gives most people problems again. And the jailbreak brings a break through, which makes the unlocking much easier and more stable, even 3G networking is ok in some area. I recommend the following chips currently: Air & GPP for 4S 9 Pro for 4S/5 Mini 2(most will be on 9.8 already) for 5S/5C Air2 for Sprint |
