Member: 1938435 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 208 | Research is pretty simple. Put SIM inside factory unlocked/local phone without unlock chip. If you get 4G LTE service, then you have a unique type of SIM card. If you only get 4G HDSPA+, then you are like all the others. The 64K/128K debate isn't the issue as much as it is LTE-capable SIM cards vs 2G/3G/HDSPA+-capable ones. |

Member: 2160880 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 17 | SIMTester you're right, hehe. Anyway... there's another issue here in Mexico. Let say the 256 kb nano sim card is LTE capable, guess what? Not all the cities in the country have antennas to provide LTE signal *bummer* So even though I try the 256 kb in my city, i won't get the signal, i've to travel to main cities to get signal and see from there. The 128kb here in mexico will never give you a "4G" at the top of the signal bars (circles) even though you try it into an "LTE city". |

Member: 1938435 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 208 | I wonder if there is a way to delete the LTE info from a SIM card and program the rest onto a blank SIM card that the carrier will activate, so that 3G can be used for all carriers that do not normally support R-SIM 3G mode. |
