we have used 128 kb cards in mexico and 3g works on iiphone 5 sprint ios 7.0.6 jailbroken with official patches and irose force 3g

I have working iPhone 5 locked to sprint on att edge network with sms, mms and data. I would like to enable the imessage using my phone number. I can't see it in the phone application and this is why the imessage doesn't give it as an option. Is there a patch or something for that ?
I am jailbroken 7.0.4
Thanks
no card of these type or other can use the phone number for imessage, always only apple id, in fact is better apple id since if you travel you can't use your phone number abroad even with roaming on

I guess you are the only person in the whole world to get 3g with a 128k sim card since rsim does not support 128 k sim card and 3g.

Im in the states and have tried all atat/tmobile sims 64 / 128 / 256 k and only 64k get 3g on sprint iphone 5 unlocked with rsim and ios 7.0.6 jailbroken with irose and 3g patch installed

probably, also i think it has to do with the iPhone model as well and the gsm bands being used, here in mexico we don't find many 64kb, just 128kb and the new 256kb.

we would have to research and get deeper about it

Research is pretty simple. Put SIM inside factory unlocked/local phone without unlock chip. If you get 4G LTE service, then you have a unique type of SIM card. If you only get 4G HDSPA+, then you are like all the others. The 64K/128K debate isn't the issue as much as it is LTE-capable SIM cards vs 2G/3G/HDSPA+-capable ones.

SIMTester you're right, hehe. Anyway... there's another issue here in Mexico. Let say the 256 kb nano sim card is LTE capable, guess what? Not all the cities in the country have antennas to provide LTE signal *bummer*

So even though I try the 256 kb in my city, i won't get the signal, i've to travel to main cities to get signal and see from there.

The 128kb here in mexico will never give you a "4G" at the top of the signal bars (circles) even though you try it into an "LTE city".

I wonder if there is a way to delete the LTE info from a SIM card and program the rest onto a blank SIM card that the carrier will activate, so that 3G can be used for all carriers that do not normally support R-SIM 3G mode.
