I just registered my meid on sprint, help me to get 3G and sms! Previously my air 2 was working perfectly for calls and in SMS! Now what are the steps to enable SMS out and 2g/3G internet?

My device is iPhone 5s iOS 7.1.1 Sprint

you can view ---> settings ---> Phone --> My number (if my number is a phone number usa ) you can send sms and 3G

If you have any friend in US then tell him to register your MEID.

after meid registration, when i insert sprint sim it gives us number and roaming network but when air 2 is inserted with vodafone india sim, it doesnt show any number! also i am not able to use sms out and internet! please help.. i live in India and dont have a sprint account friends!

Try this:

Connect to WiFi, insert your SIM only, wait for activation screen, reboot if no activation screen yet, insert SIM + R-SIM, run Rpatch or iRose from unlockpro.ru/nano4g. Force 2G or 3G if compatible. Reboot if No Service. Users claims you can send SMS if you exclude country code, but it only works for some countries like India.

You should see an, "iPhone is activated message." I had some issues getting this process to work on iOS 6, but I think it works the same on iOS 7 as iPhone 5.

Have you really registered your MEID....?
Showing My Number & Roaming is not guarantee that its activated on sprint account.
I have a sprint sim of iphone 5c...and can also see 'roaming' and 'my number'
But when i insert that sim it always say that 'iPhone is not activated'...but we need the message 'iPhone is activated'
So be sure you registered the MEID on sprint account.

brother, my far friend in us, asked his friend to do that for me on! just for 15 mins and only on sunday! these guys are too mich busy!

bro...i think you are missing something...
I faced same problem...and in my case my MEID is not registered on sprint account.
But i have a sprint sim, using that it showing 'Roaming' also My number.
But when i inserted local sim with r-sim..its again showing 'Unknown' in my number.
So i think your MEID is still no activated on sprint account.
You can retry with activation on sprint account.

this time when you got 'iPhone is activated' message..try to make call n see if you can call using your phone..
