But inserting the r-sim pro and my WIND sim, a pop up window appears, you choose the model of the iphone and then the carrier to unlock. Then click on accept and restart the phone. No need to insert any code. It worked for me. |

Member: 2060493 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | if you get the message invalid sim with the r-sim inserted, ( and I did too ) probably the r-sim9 has to be changed. I actually purchased a second one to unlock my iphone, because the first time I messed things up. This usually happens when you have previously activated the carrier sim on your iphone , using the same r-sim9. Or at least that's what the guy who sold it to me said. So you would have to try the r-sim9 in another iphone with a different sim for activation and done that, re-insert it into your iphone with your sim. This way it won't recognise your sim as before. It's worth a try. |

Member: 2066212 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | i have similar problem during activation with RSIM9Pro (iphone5, iOS 7.0.3, JP AU). first i made a clean format with the AU simcard alone and after that reboot with RSIM9PRO & current sim-card. During the activation screen i can get the pop-up menu working and able to choose JP AU from the list. However, after rebooting the phone i cannot finish the activation process, no matter am i using WLAN or itunes. It tries to activate the phone though but after several minutes i will get an error message "could not connect to the itunes server... pls, try again later) There's no problem in the activation with the au simcard alone but nothing happens when RSIM9Pro is used together with any sim-card. I have also used RSIM8 + 3G patch with the same phone but i couldn't get it working at all. Is it possible that RSIM8 is the reason for this behavior even with clean install? |

Member: 2093265 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hi guys, same issue with my Iphone 5S, 16gb, iOS 7.0.4. Currently locked to US Sprint. I have used RSIM 9S, I was able to activate the phone (from fresh restore) but after activation I got the same message as guys above "Activation required". I've tried many times, even using different MSI codes and SIM cards, but always got same result – activation required and if I do activation it say’s “server busy” etc. Could you please help? I’m even happy to do jailbreak on the phone, as long as it helps me from using the phone as very expensive iPod Thank you! |
