iPhone 5, Rsim 9 pro, iOS 7 and sprint

I read so many threads. An iPhone 5 with ios7, sprint and Rsim doesn't work properly with 3G and SMS.
Ok, but my question is: will It be able to make call?! Or it totally doesn't work?

Some people can do/receive calls and other not. It depends on your Sim format (I think)

I usually see people saying that 64k (that means old SIM cards) are well supported. The new 128k aren't working fine
