Member: 2354764 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | R-SIM 10 Unable to Activate my iPhone 4s (US AT&T) So I have a dilemma. My friend gave me her iPhone 4s, but before that she reset the settings so her personal info won't be on there. Unfortunately, doing so made the phone inactivated. I have went to the AT&T store and Apple store, and they have no solution as to why it is unable to activate with any AT&T sim cards (error: "sim not valid" the simcard that you currently have installed in this iphone is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy...etc") Because they were useless, I decided to try other means of solution searching the net. I got this info on my iphone (see below). In any case, I bought a genuine, authenticated R-SIM 10 and followed the steps. But when I restart, it is still unable to bypass the activation screen or activate my iPhone 4s. I get the usual "sim not valid" error. Can anyone help? I've wasted 6 nano sim cards already, but I bought more. Can anyone recommend a nano sim card to buy? I've tried simple mobile and H20 wireless nano cards. Should I try selecting a different carrier other than AT&T when I put in the R-sim? Thanks in advance. -Jubi iPhone 4S 16GB White IMEI: 0131xxxxxxxxx16 Original Serial: C8xxxxxxxxx1 Model Number: A1332 Order Number: MD237 Network: Global Activated: Yes Contract Status: Out of contract AppleCare Protection: No Telephone Technical Support: Expired Repairs & Service Coverage: Expired Purchase Country: UNITED STATES Purchase Date: October 17, 2011 Carrier: Us At&t Factory Simlock: Locked Find My iPhone: OFF SIM Lock: Locked Blacklist Status: IMEIData Database: Unknown AT&T (USA): Clean Verizon (USA): Clean (GSM or Activated by other User) T-Mobile (USA): Clean Cricket (USA): Clean Metro PCS (USA): Clean Telus (Canada): Clean Telenor (Sweden): Clean Softbank (Japan): IMEI is not recognized in Softbank AU KDDI (Japan): IMEI is not recognized in KDDI Allocating Body: PTCRB/CTIA Type Allocation Code: 01318500 Serial Number: 286761 Luhn Checksum: 6 Internal Name: iPhone4,1 Board ID: n94ap FCC ID: BCG-E2430A Manufacture Date: October, 2012 Production Week: 39 Phone Age: 2 Year(s), 4 Month(s), 28 Day(s) Factory: C8 / China (Possible Refurbished) Introduction Date: October 4, 2011 Discontinue Date: September 9, 2014 |
