Unhappy R-SIM 10 Unable to Activate my iPhone 4s (US AT&T)

Hi all,

So I have a dilemma. My friend gave me her iPhone 4s, but before that she reset the settings so her personal info won't be on there. Unfortunately, doing so made the phone inactivated. I have went to the AT&T store and Apple store, and they have no solution as to why it is unable to activate with any AT&T sim cards (error: "sim not valid" the simcard that you currently have installed in this iphone is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy...etc")

Because they were useless, I decided to try other means of solution searching the net. I got this info on my iphone (see below). In any case, I bought a genuine, authenticated R-SIM 10 and followed the steps. But when I restart, it is still unable to bypass the activation screen or activate my iPhone 4s. I get the usual "sim not valid" error. Can anyone help? I've wasted 6 nano sim cards already, but I bought more. Can anyone recommend a nano sim card to buy? I've tried simple mobile and H20 wireless nano cards. Should I try selecting a different carrier other than AT&T when I put in the R-sim?

Thanks in advance.

-Jubi

I was going to get R-SIM 9 PRO because it's cheaper BUT the dealer told me to get R-SIM 10 instead because R-SIM 9 PRO is not guaranteed to work for my iPhone 4s, iOS 8.1.2

As I remember, this rsim has been release for a while ago so does it need to have the latest firmware to work?
If that is the case, how would one know that a seller has the newest batch?
