For iPhone 5 Sprint to work with 3G and outgoing SMS, you must activate the phone on a Sprint account with 7.1 without jailbreak or on 7.0.x with jailbreak. Please message me for more info.

Good question. I think it may only work in countries that have CDMA networks, which Sprint network can roam in like India, Russia, China, and a few others. When I get access to the Sprint account, I'll only have about 10 minutes before I have to remove it, so message me on Skype to see if I'm available. Skype is wiibayauctions. You will probably have to do a full wipe of the iPhone 5, so backup all your data. Also, I'm only available a few hours per day, and for this account, I can only do it late at night in the US when my friend isn't using the account.

I can also try one more thing is to try using a Cdma India sim to see if that helps in anyway though I have my doubts
