All iphone 4s on 6.1.3 and lower get 3g/4g, does not matter what turbo sim you use, (gpp/gevey/rsim) its part of ios 6 that allows simple 3g setup.

If on ios 7 thats when 3g becomes very hard, Like I stated before some 64k sim cards get 3g with correct patch, but I personally have never seen the infamous 3g on ios 7, I have tested with tmobile 64k sim in atat/verizon/sprint 4s and they only get E(edge) but some people report success on ios 7 some Good luck to all

here is a simple tutorial for rsim air and rsim 9 pro on a 4s any IOS up to 7.0.4 carrier(verizon/cricket/sprint/atat/tmobile) any

put rsim and your sim card in iphone 4s

1. When menu pops up choose "mode 4"
2. Choose the carrier of phone I choose "us ver" since Im unlocking a verizon 4s
3. make sure cellular data is turned off
4. make sure you have wifi signal
5. open safari browser "www.rsim5.com/nano4g" install irosetool
6. Restart phone, Wait for Tmobile signal if "no service" open irosetool click "force 2g"
7. A couple reboots may be needed to get signal, Once signal appears turn on cellular data to get edge

On AT&T 4S, you have to choose Mode 2 4Sios6 to get 3G service.

On Verizon/Sprint 4S, you have to do the same and jailbreak to install cydia.neterteam.com repo and iOS 7 $S Neterteam patch for 3G.

The verizon/sprint 4s on ios 7 with neterteam patch does not work, I have 5 4s sitting here im testing with a 128k sim tmobile card they only get edge with and without patch.

I am also testing right now on atat 4s and after selecting mode 2 4sios6 it was searching forever and I had to use irosetool to select" force 2g"

3g actually starting working
I repeat 3g does work on ios 7.0.4 atat 4s with 128k tmobile sim card

thanks thanks thanks

finally getting 3g on 4s ios 7.0.4 sprint/verizon with tmobile 128 sim

When trying on 4s ios 7.0.4 verizon and sprint models

choose mode 2

you will get ifinite searching, so click irosetool force 2g reset phone,,,When signal finally comes through use irosetool to click force 3g

You will eventually get 3g

I can confirm this it works for me too.

IPhone CDMA 4S Model: A1387 (Locked to Sprint)
SimCard: VodafoneGermany Nano Size (128K?)

I didnt need to reset my phone, i just went to phone-->SIM Applications- Chose Mode2 - Restart Phone- Open Irose Tool-> Force 2G- Force 3g- Done!

How can i identify my sim card wheter its a 64/128 or 256k Card? I hope to get a reply to this question.

Are you using RSIM Air or GPP? Most will allow you to edit settings, phone, My Number.

I recommend using R-SIM Air or GPP to edit the Settings, Phone portion. You must insert a SIM card to access Settings, Phone regardless.

I recommend using R-SIM Air or GPP to edit the Settings, Phone portion. You must insert a SIM card to access Settings, Phone regardless.

There are many new GPP chips advertising iOS 7, 7.0.4 AT&T Verizon Sprint. These SIM cards are very difficult to use for the following reasons:

a)Half of them say Invalid SIM/SIM Failure when you insert your SIM card over them.

b)The SIM cards cannot be programmed with Sprint or Verizon 4S using the default menu. The SIM menu is also v 7.0, older than the 7.6, 7.7, and 7.8 used for R-SIM Air(although they may be competing companies using different versions). The SIM cards do not include a rainbow GPP reset SIM for Sprint & Verizon. You must find your old one from another GPP SIM. You must select Other Carrier and enter the following IMSI for Sprint and Verizon:

Sprint: 3160100
Verizon: 2040400
AT&T(if you reprogrammed it to Sprint/Verizon and want to go back to AT&T): 3104100, also works for R-SIM Mini for iPhone 5/5c/5S from AT&T

c)If you accidentally cut your SIM card to nano size and use an adapter, it most likely will not work. You will need to play around with your adapter for an hour or transfer your number to a new micro SIM instead.

In conclusion, the best GPP available are the packages that say Sprint 6.1.3 or Verizon 6.1.3, which will work on iOS 6.0-7.0.4. Sprint & Verizon do require a jailbreak with the cydia.neterteam.com source and the 4S Neterteam iOS 7 patch unless you're using a 2G SIM card.

R-SIM Airs(all version 7.6-7.8) also work well, but you must select Mode2 3G iOS6 prior to choosing the carrier at the bottom of the menu.

There are so many GPP available now all advertising newest iOS 7.0.4 that I recommend buying R-SIM Air if you can't find GPP 6.1.3 version(works with 7.0.4).

R-SIM 9 Pro cannot read data off 3G/LTE SIM cards. You must buy 2G SIM card to use 3G data with R-SIM 9 Pro or buy R-SIM Air or GPP.
