Member: 2045066 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 10 | Just to reiterate, the sim cards I've used to unlock above were mostly 128K sims but with the 64k sim on a 4S, I can also setup mms as the Cellular Data Network does appear. It's best to use the 64k sim (if available on your carrier) on the iPhone 5 Sprint. The website to the patch is www.rsim5.com/nano4g on your iPhone. PS. If anyone is Local to Los Angeles in the San Gabriel Valley 626 area, contact me if you are having problems so I can assist you and help you program your phone for a small fee. |

iSelliPhones, that is totally and completely untrue what you are stating. If you look at Simple Mobile's sim card and look at T-Mobile's 128k MODEL TM9177, they are exactly the same. Secondly, you absolutely need the patch otherwise, you will just get the original carrier's signal to pop up or it'll say Activation Required.

So in reality, it may or may NOT work properly on a foreign sim but then again it could be working within your reach but you guys just don't know it. And to answer your question Tumajay, it's ah no because it's just most people on this forum as there is probably half or more than half of the people in the US (cannot confirm with other countries' sim since I don't have one in my possession to test) that have no issues. |

My conclusion is dat the sprint iphone 5 u unlock are all activated on sprint( sure easy to get activated sprint iphone 5 since u are in d US) any activated sprint iphone 5 will work fine with 3g and sms. To know if ur sprint is activated or not, u can just show us d phone settings at settings-phone. If u av a phone number showing there, it has been activated on a sprint network and u wont av any issues. But if your phone number shows 'unknown' and u av 3g, then i can think otherwise Sent from my iPhone using ********

Member: 2017464 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 6 | My wife has another iPhone 5 Sprint (calls, SMS and EDGE working in Movistar Spain) and the only (apparent) difference is that I can see the phone number of the previous owner. My iPhone shows "Unknown" in phone number into Settings>Phone. I donīt know if this information can help. |

Member: 2045066 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 10 | See I told you people it can be done not just me even on a foreign sim not just on the US carriers. Javieritool, you just have to figure out how to tweak it to make it work on 3G. |

Member: 2045066 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 10 | LOL I know uh That's what I'm saying hahaa. Yea if you don't know what you're doing and don't work on phones on a daily basis, it's best not to mess with it to not lose the signal and unable to get it back. Like I said, if it's any other sims, I need the phone physically here to troubleshoot. |
