Rsim 7-8-9-9pro-9gold - use 981 IC chip !!! is not same chip like on mini-mini+mini2 !!!
R-sim mini-mini+-mini2-Heicard all models and Alisim = use same Chip !!!
Firmware can be changed BETWEEN this if you have knowledge !
I use different firmware on same Chip !

How do you update the firmware on RSIM 7, 8, & 9? do you have a guide and software or do you need your own dongle like R-SIM Mini? Thanks.

Rsim 7-8-9-9pro-9gold - use 981 IC chip - to be able to update them you must have access to their Bootloader - also you must have Special dongle for this ... well i never seen this type of dongle .
For example some chinese guys hacked old x-sim which also are based on 981 IC , but due to Chip memory limit is impossible to write new Firmware on old Chip ... well maybe 9Pro-Gold use better IC - i didn't check this and preffer to work only which R-sim mini-mini+-mini2-heicard ...
