Hi ppl! I have a problem, I cant bypass the activation screen.
I have iphone 5 sprint ios 802

I completed the activation of iP4S running 8.0.2 with R-sim9pro by doing:
1. I placed R-sim9pro into a simfree iP4
2. On iP4 went to Settings>Phone>SIM Applications
3. Configured r-sim carrier to r-sim 9pro.
4. Took r-sim 9pro out from iP4 and placed it into locked nonactivated iP4S.
5. Tried to activate.
DONE! Now my iPhone 4S works like a simfree iPhone on iOS 8.0.2. very happy.

You could try this method, too. Good luck, anyway.
