Solution is easy,u might be getting 2-3 dots of cell reception.
Do one thing. Install irose and click on force 2g.
This will make your incoming transmission(call and text) perfect..

I found out v1.0 easy to install

I have Air2 with no version in the setup menu. Is it fake? It doesn't work at all on any Sprint 5C no matter the version. Only the setup menu works, but there's only an option to choose the carrier, no version available.

AFAIK.....the version of the rsim can be seen in SETTING---PHONE---SIM APPLICATION

I've upgrade air2 v1.0 to newest v9.8 all in one. But I got mini2 v9.8 not air v8.9 after update done.

So, where can I get air2 upgrade firmware?

I understand as a consumer, the 5S/5C Sprint unlock isn't worth it. It's much better to sell the iPhone to recover some money to purchase an AT&T one and order a factory unlock code. My problem is I have customers who don't want to do that, so I need to provide the best solution. I agree that I wouldn't sell a 5C/5S Sprint as unlockable or unlocked because of all the problems.

i wish i could get mine at least unlocked somehow..even with a tmobile 65kb sim card...stuck at activation scree..no matter what ..i followed lots of guides in different threads.
