Softbank iPhone5 (ND297J/A) - use in Germany?

Hey,
I bought an iPhone 5 during a 1 year stay in Japan. Now that I'm back in Germany, I'm looking for a way to keep on using that phone.

Is it even possible to use it with a German provider? I read something about different versions of the phone (GSM, CDMA, ...), but I don't really understand that stuff and can't get a final 'yes' or 'no'.

The phone is currently locked to Softbank, as the company itself doesn't unlock it.
Software Version 6.1.4 (10B350)
iPhone Model ND297J/A

Geh auf die Rückseite des Iphones und schau mal nach ob A1428 oder A1429. Müsste aber m.M. nach gehen, ggf. klappt "nur" LTE nicht.

Gelockt das Teil ?
