Lightbulb Sprint ios 8.1 everything working (tutorial)

Firstly this is for everyone stuck at no service with gevey sims and are unable to use their iPhones accordingly.
I've managed to unlock my iPhone while using 7.1.2 as well as 8.1 now

Steps :
1. Sometimes it will display "No service" and sometimes will display your network name in my case "Ufone". And you'd be getting activation errors.

2. For me I can make calls and receive them, also I can receive messages but fail to send them out and internet does not work.

3. Jailbreak your iPhone (it's iPhone 5 in my case)

4. Install Filza/iFile (I installed Filza because I couldn't get ifile to work)

5. Head over to System/Library/Carrier Bundles/iPhone/Sprint_LTE_US. Bundle

5. Delete all the files inside

6. Reboot

7. It will say No Service at first but after just 1 minute it will display your network name.

Walaaaah! Your iPhone is now up and ready to be used.

Notice it says Carrier 18.0 at Carrier in settings>>general>>about

You can now edit your apns and use your internet.

I'm still searching for a way to get imessage and FaceTime working with my number, I'll update you guys when I'm done figuring it out

On iphone 5 Sprint works any R-Sim9 Pro, R-Sim mini 2, R-Sim 9 + Nano, R-Sim Air 2.
It's not problem with iphone 5. For 3g-2g use 3gpp or apn.lockedit etc.
Only problem is iphone 5s, 6, 6+, Sprint iOS 8.x

why would you put "everything working" in the title and then post "still searching for a way to get imessage and FaceTime working" ?

You have only gotten as far as I have. (4s Sprint with R-Sim 6 which was working for 7.1.1 - I updated at the last minute to take advantage of 8.1 jailbreak...kind of wish I didn't now)
As Nilu posted, I go into activation loop after a while, especially when I lose signal.

The activation loop problem can be mitigated by changing the carrier bundle. I think some bundles cause looping more than others. I use the TMobile_US.bundle and don't see the activation loop on 4S, but it's an issue with 5S/5C/6/6+ iPhones.

Your iMessage/FaceTime requires a number in Settings, Phone, My Number. I can fix this for you if you don't have a number here. 4S automatically fixes it as well as 5C/5S/6/6+. 5 can be fixed by using the Mini 2/9+/Air 2 in 5s/5c mode, but you have to delete setup.app and such, which may prevent 3G incoming calls/texts for many carriers. I can register the MEID to avoid that issue as long as it's clean.

I'm using goguo. I've tried various sims and all of them seems to be working.
Can you tell me what problem are you facing in Japan?

P.S Can you explain me what happens when the activation loop occurs?

When I change my carrier bundles I get activated message after which I never get activation issues.

I've restored my iPhone 5 twice to check if this method is really working fine, and yes it is
