yes 3g works with t mobile usa
dont need any patch for that
just go to cellular data network in cellular and set the apn of your operator and it will work
tested fully working on iOS 7.0.2
with R SIM 7+and 8

not working for me atleast
iphone 5 t-mobile usa gsm
ios 6.1.4
without patch = no service
with patch = calls, sms , no 3g only edge
r-sim8+

i also faced this issue but i didnt patch instead i used other imsi of t mobile bcoz it is having two imsi...
in my case 3102600 worked perfectly
you should have tried them both
and before that make sure you do the complete reset and activate the phone using your rsim and sim ,not with orig t mobile sim
try it once it will definately work

i tryed only the imsi 3102605 and i was told that changing imsi dont effect 3g connection
but will try your option
btw u use cutted sim ? or original carrier nano sim ?

i used the cutted sim 64k
and reset the phone by this i am quite sure it will work and use the rsim for activation

only now i see that u r using 64k sim. thats why your getting 3g.

in my country i can only get 128k sim cards.
