Unlock Sprint iphone 5s - GSM-Forum

I need some help unlocking a Sprint iPhone 5s . This phone was restored and all data erased. I would like to unlock it and use it on T mobile network .When i went to t mobile store they told me that i have to unlock it in order for me to use it on their network .So where do i start ? I did order this from simm from ebay R-SIM AIR 2 for iPHONE 5S 5C 5 5G TURBO CARD VERIZON ATT SPRINT iOS 7.1.1 9 PRO would that work ?. At this point I don't even know which version of IOS is on this phone, All i get is this message please insert valid sim card and if i put tmobile sim card i get you have invalid sim card that's the best i got so far from my first used iPhone that i bought.I know that the phone has a clean IMEI and was not reported stolen or lost so that's a good news but how to unlock this thing please some advice thank you .

Did you solve the problem? Îm exactly in the same situation. Mine is a 5c that I also bought from ebay. The Imei is barred apparently which means that the phone is still on contract. I got in touch with some unlocking websites for iphones and the prices are quite high. The cheapest a got was around 99$ on unlocknest com.

welcome to the no work club !!!!!! I have messed with this rsim on and off for two months and get the same thing as you. All i get is this message please insert valid sim card and if i put my telus card in i get you have invalid sim card. I don.t think they work in north America. I think they work in some other country's on sprint phones but not here. I would like to hear from anyone that got these rsims working in north America on a sprint phone .
