Samsung Galaxy S2 Overheating Problem - GSM-Forum

Hello everyone. I know that there are other threads referring to this but all they say is to replace battery or charger etc. My problem is with a component that is situated next to the battery when you dismantle the phone. I have attached a .rar file with some images. In picture 1 it shows where the component is. Picture 2 zooms into the component where it looks like it's being protected by a removable metal cover. In picture 3 shows the component without the cover which looks to be a small black square on the motherboard. Can someone please tell me what it is or how to make it not overheat? Thanks

UPDATE: This website doesn't seem to work properly as when I try to attach my 143kb .rar file it fails...
