More, you can make debug log and check yourself where exactly where is problem.
And yes, to avoid posible phone killing, in nck is introduced more strict check for all this.
Was many time problem, when users in hurry flashed firmware from another phone and after ....was problem.
Debug log also will allow you to see exactly where is problem and fix it.

[1003]Error: S_INVALID_BBCHIP_TYPE

I backup flash & dont can restore it, is from the same phone.

FlashTool_Download_Internal(): platform mismatch(BBChip type):PC load <->target("MT6752" <> "MT6580 " )

My phone is MT6580 & Backup is MT6580.

Many clone firmware builders put in preloader not real name.
This start to happen from some time, is not old problem.
In next update this problem will be fixed, will be readed bb chip name acording with phone report.
Right now you can modify scatter manually and put pltform: MT6580 instead of platform: MT6752

I had the same problem and the solution was to flash all the partitions (I always uncheck the pre-loader box in the scatter file before hit flash).

Flash it all and write back the result.
