SGH-T679 Unlock Error [ANSWERED] - GSM-Forum

I'm getting an unlock error and a range check error for imei repair.

Unlock dongle respone:

COM : 5 Selected
Model Selected : SGH-T679
Start Reading Info..
Version : T679UVLG3/T679TMBLG3
Imei : 35442505064581
Bypass MSL Need...
Scaning Security Area...
Error while unlock phone!

Imei repair does the same thing, but instead of the error, I get a "Range Check Error"

I'm running Samsung v3.0 and my Dongle is updated. I'm still using the stock firmware, but could it's version be a problem? The phone is also rooted. I just bought it today. Baseband version is T679UVLG3.

must have original firmware and for this models it is msl security needed.

either flahs with other firmware or get your firmware T679UVLG3/T679TMBLG3 and load it in software and it will extract the need msl data for unlock.

Thanks. I downloaded the firmware that is listed on my phone, and it still gave the same error. I tried using firmware from a previous T679 I was using to no avail either.

Also, I'm still getting the range check error on IMEI Repair. What could be causing that?
