Member: 15565 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | Unlock Doro 620 [USER REPORT] ★★★★★ I have a Doro 620 phone, connected it to Generic MTK and connected via USB, it says the below when I do read codes: SIMLOCK INFO[1]: Block1(N) : Unlocked Block2(NS): Unlocked Block3(SP): Unlocked Block4(C) : Unlocked META END OK. All done. But it still only works on EE network, if I put any other simcard from different networks, it's only allowing emergency calls. If the codes show unlocked, why is the phone still locked to EE? |

Hi, I managed to find out a bit more info. I contacted EE/Orange here in the UK and they said the IMEI is not one of theirs... I then contacted the seller, who eventually confessed that the handset is originally from Canada and on the Rogers network. Any ideas how i can unlock it to work on all UK networks? Is there a way to get a different vanilla 620 firmware which is not locked to Rogers/EE? Can i use Generic MTK to flash it with firmware to unlock it?

I have the handset here in the UK and tested it with EE and it works fine and is compatible in the UK. I want it to work on other networks like 3 and O2, Vodafone, but when I put these simcards in, they say SOS calls only.

Member: 11170 Status: Offline Sonork: 1603694 Thanks Meter: 6,944 | I'am alredy gived a repply, try to read it. According to google EE use for 2G Frequencies 1800MHz All other operators like O2, Three, Vodafone use european band for 2g, meen 900MHz. This is explanation why it work on EE and not work on other oppearators. In this chap phones, posible missing hardware components for 900MHz band. So disasemble phone and check. Phone is not locked, mostly sure this phone not support 900MHz band. |
