v14.0 failing to start [ANSWERED]


Afternoon All

Click on either SHELL or NCK Dongle shortcut and it fails to start, Splash screen starts program blinks then nothing

and help would be appreciated

Just bcoz smart card is either not connected or not installed.

Check Device Manager if you have installed Dongle Drivers properly.

that was my fear (i've moved my pc) so i'm assuming the dongle has got damaged in the process

Plug in dongle and check in device manager, smartcard and smartcard reader present or not.

Where would i find my serial number for my dongle, i think im using the wrong 1 (would it be in my previous logs folder)

Its very rare chance to find your Dongle Serial in log files.

Do as kaller1 says.

Check if you have installed drivers properly.

Also make sure that you have not played with Card, for example, you took it out and not insert back properly etc.

Too many possibilities, really we cant help you much without your proper feedback.

Sorry for being so vague i'm going to purchase another 1 and start again
(i'm not 100% sure ive using the correct Dongle)

I'm sure i threw away my NCK Dongle...
