Vodafone Smart Prime 6 (895N) Relock after update to 5.0.2 - GSM-Forum

Unlocked a Vodafone Smart Prime 6 with 5.0.1, about a month ago. After receiving the 5.0.2 update the phone re-locked itself.

The phone isn't rooted anymore so I decided to reroot it in order to unlock it again ... but to my surprise version 5.0.2 can't be rooted by KingRoot.apk (the app says so), neither did KingoRoot help.

PS: I've disabled write protect prior to rooting.

Please help me root and unlock this phone...

Strange it relock on update.
Usually alcatel relock phones on cable update.
I'am not have any info about root, will check on to see.

I don't know how the update has been done (OTA or cable). I'm still looking for valid root method, but if you find something first, please let me know.

Same problem here with hungarian vodafone provider.
The phone was unlocked, the customer brings in to vodafone for sw update and afte 5.0.2 the phone asks for network pin again.
can't root with iroot or kingo

we never make rooting software so nothing can be found here u must check for root on google search engines.
