ZTe Jack 3G / Rio II unlock not done (Answered)

installed drivers from phone itself ...

no ftm mode on vol- + power on,

phone reads info only in full powered on state

unlock starts only when disable MODEM in device manager,
and leave two com ports installed by driver.

info from sw :

any hints ? maybe i am doing something wrong ?

phone must go in ftm mode otherwise no unlock

ps. RIO II i didn t test in person it was what user tested and reported for me, but i can try and get one to check it, but as i said FTM mode is a MUST.

maybe there is some other key combination ?

i tried:
vol- + power on,
vol- + menu + power on
vol- + center button + power on
all same with vol+ etc.

but phone just power on, no hang or FTM on screen

maybe firmware blocks it ?

p.s. i am on icq/skype now, if possible get online, thanx.

[Fast Unlocking]

Connect phone and select Diag Port (when no Diag appear, connect in FTM mode and you get FTM Mode with Key combination : (volume down + power on )

This is only there is other way to solve until u get it somehow in ftm.

i even opened phone, cleaned keys, tested keys (volume up, down),
but it wont go into FTM ... i dunno whats with this phone

when holding vol- + pwr on, it starts up, i watch in device manager,
nothing appears (diag or any other port) until it fully power on ...

p.s. what u mean "select diag port", there is no port select in software ?

other tools unlocks this phone in normal mode,
maybe thats the issue ?

p.s. i see also tab is names "zte android" ... this phone doesnt look like android to me ?!

about FTM mode, and ask customer that reported it works

yes but you do not need to have android to go it FTM mode

FTM mode = Test mode

correct, it's Qualcomm 3G inside, and software is some ZTE "mix"

No problem but seems you don even have phone in hand now to test so why still talking about it here?

a bug report is ok, an ask for help to solve it is ok also, but seems when we asked for phone it s gone, anyway i will try to buy this phone before i travel, and will see what is issue with it.

if some1 reports something we always take it in and will try to solve np, but keep pestering us is not ok, we will check it and in our own time for sure...
