thanks for the info i do a bit of programming in c and asm and a little vb very little learning as we speak ,

can u give any goooood links for finding info about the compon inside the phone eg ..service manuals, chip /readers programers compatable to get the info from the mcu/cpu , and refrence sites for the verious architechtures of the mcu's .

you already know i have ird pro plus verious others

For NewBye, the best way is to begin with SmartCards.For Atmel and PIC MCU-s is not hard to learn instruction set of commands and this way will be good to make first flash loader. Programming eeprom, over flash loader in MCU, is one step from understanding how GSMPhone software work. For Atmel and PIC, and many more (hardware and programming) information you can download from:
