Arrow Any idea about ZTE SP Calculation from ESN/MEID?

Hi!

Can anyone help me with ZTE SP ALGO used to unprotect phone.

We cant send phone to Download mode, or write any NV Item without first sending it. Its is based on ESN/MEID.

AFAIK, there are three types of code calculaton, 2 are 6 digit decimal and one is 6 byte HEX.

Someone already gave me clue, but i am not so good in reversing

Any help will be appreciated.

Br,
Shadab Ahmad

Yes Bro! I know it.

But my current condition does not allow me to pay a big $$$.

A nice person gave me some hint, but I am not so experienced with Olly or IDA so still unable to figure out.

Lets see what happens.

Learn Delphi if you want to be a serious programmer.

Once you will start with VB or .NET, and will develop a good tool, then you will have no time to learn Delphi or rewrite codes in it.

So better start with the thing, which will be suitable for future too.

Programming languages like your tools in your garage. Different problems = different tools.
In gsm business Delphi is popular, but in the "normal" world you need different languages. ( now i start a flame war )

Microcontrollers(ARM) = C
linux= c/c++
windows = c#, c++, visualC++
smart card(mostly) = javaCard 2.2.2 or javaCard 2.2.1
servers(both linux and win) = PHP, javaEE
databases = SQL
decompliers = assembly

and Ruby, phyton...etc

You must choose the platform and recognize the problem. After that you can choose the correct programming language.
(ex. you can use the java in any platform but there is no hw support (usb..etc) or you can try to make some C++ application on APAche/Tomcat server )

Totally agree with every line written by this guy,if you want to be a great programmer/developer, learn many things, NOT JUST ONE!
for this reason I like C/C++ but (pascal)delphi is easier hehe

regards,
Pablo
