I did it in VB.NET
It chcks if device is stolen, carrier and activation status but can't check if it's locked or not
What's the string in the output that says about lock status??

You can develop cross platform for mobile app
but limited to certain features ex like hardware access.

ofcourse first choice would be XCode and can only do with osx
some other cross platform mobile dev like kony(Lua) can work with
windows supporting ios's,blackberrys, andriod and many others but
it doesnt come cheap.

Curl is expensive to use this way but in a less traffic environment is acceptable
and not all servers have pre installed curl for php.

much way better to use non strict json parser ;-)
ajax/jquery $.get({}); would be my choice
