check phone rooting from PC


Hi all I am looking for a fast was to check if any android phone has been rooted.
I need a way what will run from a computer so all I have to plug the phone in and then use a program check the phone.

I know about root checker that will run from an SD.

So I looking for something like that, that will run on a PC

Hi,

Type at shell console line this command, adb shell id, if you receive uid=2000 answer then device not rooted, if you receive uid=0 answer then device rooted.

Hi no it does not work I get the same line back from the phone if it is rooted or not.

That's because it depends on if phone is rooted via ENGINEERING kernel or not. Dicle_Gsm command will work if it's ENGINEERING rooted. If you rooted by cf auto root you should be able to use the "adb shell su -c id" I believe. Then if the phone hasn't had root prompt accepted, you should see it pop up asking for permissions.
