has been running main P8P67 4 HD 6970 card or not?
i'm try not run with win7 64bit

It's won't fit or you need pci-ex extender 1x to 1x16!

I'm currently using 3 slot 16x and 1 slot 1x to 16x (riser cable).

8x GPU supported only in Linux

6970 is single gpu card so it should work
If any problems with the crossfire just use dummy plugs to make them working all.
Be carefull as tthe power usage of these cards is high.. can go up to 250w each card with just a minimum oc.

I tried the plan. I think the main P8P67 pro 4 slot will not run(not support).

Windows 7 don't support 8 gpu and will load your cpu at 100%!
