Hi,

I would be interested in activating Huawei Voice functionnality for Huawei E1552 et E160, in orderto be able to make voice call. I'm interested by any information on it, except "just buy credits for dc-unlocker", because I'm already using it, but would understand how it work.

I'm also seeking any reversing guidance in order to:

-while calling, send audio stream to HUAWEI modem.
-while calling, receive audio stream from HUAWEI modem.

For now I'm only able to voice dial someone and send "DTMF" with AT^DTMF.

I have tried to sniff communication between Mobile Partner and the modem while calling.
There is two virtual serial port:
-the fist one (PC UI Interface) is used only for classics text AT / HAYES commands
-and a second one (PC application interface) with binary communication: there is no activity on this port if I just send SMS. I suppose this port is used for audio stream upload/download.

The sniffing tool i'm using provide an "intelligent" view of the binary stream: it display "windows driver kit" operations like IRP_MJ_CREATE, IRP_MJ_WRITE, etc ...

At this point I don't know exactly what to do to repeat the binary streams under Linux.

The other way consist in decompiling "Mobile Partner": it's seem to have been written in C++, so I suppose it's possible to decompiling it.

That need to be tested but voice activation should work with:
AT^U2DIAG=5

then the modem become 0x12d1:0x140c a flash drive.

then I plug in on my Linux Ubuntu computer, use minicom and type AT^U2DIAG=0 to deactivate the damn flash drive.

Maybe it's better to first type AT^U2DIAG=0 and then AT^U2DIAG=5 ...

after using the command AT^U2DIAG=5 my huawei modem e156C become unusable only cd is detected my computer but modem and card reader is not detected how can i use my AT Command if my modem is not detected

i couldn't restore it with out the modem detected on my device manager

Hi all,

Need a little help on my side.. i did everything as stated.

however at the part where im almost successful, at the > UNLOCKING tab > ACTIVATE VOICE... it fails... the button is there but cannot be pressed...

how do i activate voice call please help me

I just want to know whether Huawei E3276 modem supports voice call? Does the current firmware support voice call? Or is a firmware upgrade required to enable it? Or is there no way to enable voice call? Text messaging and USSD work fine. I got the following details using DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.1154:

Hi!

Has anyone tried the answer of PhilippeO with an Huawei E160 modem?

I am using this modem with asterisk and for the moment, I can only send SMS.
Calling fails and I can't receive calls nor SMS.

I checked with dc-unlocker and the voice is currently "disabled".
