i need help in sending hex command - GSM-Forum

i m using vb i want send commands hex "0E 01 0F 09"
with mscomm.output please help vb cannot send hex only ascii

Or try this see in ascii table this codes and send with asc(number) command
this &H08= 08(dec) mscomm.output = asc(08)

Add the folowing control in your project: Microsoft Comm Control (mscom32.ocx)
(if i remember right)
if you want send anything in the port that before link the value
for example

Dim str as string

str=Chr(&H0E) & Chr(&H01) ....
mscomm1.output=str

but dont forget settings your port
mscomm1.port=1
mscomm1.settings=baud, parity....
i cant remember the right sequence
