New way to lock sim cards

Here is my situation. There are few Carriers ( GSM ) that are locking the sim card to the IMEI of the phone. When you buy the phone together with the sim card you can not use that sim card with another phone, even if the other phone is unlock. Seems like the sim card is married to the original IMEI of the phone you first bought, therefore there is no way for you to change to a better phone without changing your sim card. Is there any way to around this situation? .

Thanks

hi man, this wont help..

here in the uk, we had one phone released maybe 6/7 years ago "philips c12/savvy".
these had some lock so the sim would only work in the phone it came with..

no one ever cracked that
but unlocking was not so big business then.
these days, if there is demand, then be sure someone is working on it already

actually, i read your problem again mate,

dont expect a solution to that..
it seems you would need to edit data on the sim card..
new sim cards can not be cloned as it is never cracked
so you wouldnt be able to edit the card..

if you have upgraded to a new phone, just phone the carrier and they should release the sim for you..
thats the best i suggest
