Nokia 7190 Help Desperate - GSM-Forum

I have a rare 7190 with autoslide for GSM and am having problems with it. Firstly I try and enter *#0000# to get firmware and the phone sits there thinking I'm dialling a number, cannot get the phone to recognise it as a code, if I hit talk then it says REQUESTING then NOT DONE.

The reason for me trying to find firmware revision is that this seems to be older firmware that doesn't include things like copying sim to phone and vice versa and things like voice dialling.

Any help with the code thing or a list of what I will need or where I can go to flash this phone would be greatly appreciated

i have a 7190 and my firmware is like the first one. ive been looking for the 3.30 forever, cant find it or anyone to do it. but the 0000 thing works on mine.

Mine is a rare field test version of the phone. That is why it can't accept the standard codes
