Project: Repair Blackberry Error 507 without Flashing - GSM-Forum

As we know, Blackberry phones may have some software problems, like "Error 507" and we must to flash it, and lose all our important information like Contacts and SMS.

Error 507 means: the dependency of a .cod can't be satisfied doe to a .cod file missed or corrupted.

I think is possible to make a "one click" solution to fix this problem.
1- Read all the event log
2- analyze the list and find the corrupted or missed .cod files
3- write or replace the curren .cod files
4- phone fixed

we can use the Javaloader and next command:

Code:

-u eventlog > eventlog.txt

and generate a notepad with all the phone info to analyze it.

but i don't have a phone in error 507 on heands.

if you help me to get this eventlog and analyze it i promisse to post the solution or source code here.

if want make simple ,

just delete some "important" .cod from your phone , and violaa,.....
you already have "error 507" phone

he needs one phone with 507 jvm error for testing puposes. he will guide you to repair it without flashing.
if you have one in hand for test, just contact him

use free tool like bbsak to backup cods then delete the ones on the phone. Is your problem fixed? Can you still access the phone via USB on my computer?

(net_rim_bb_qm_yahoo "remove")

after remove this files.cod, re-install files.cod removed

if not soluction.

the best solution is

1.- cfp.exe /u /v3 wipe -f (erase file system) ( in the lcd screen "error 5.. reload s.o") install s.o for desktop, erase vendor, execute loader.exe and run

Error 507 means: the dependency of a .cod can't be satisfied doe to a .cod file missed or corrupted. I think is possible to make a "one click" solution to fix this problem. 1- Read all the event log 2- analyze the list and find the corrupted or missed .cod files 3- write or replace the curren .cod files 4- phone fixed we can use the Javaloader and next command: Code: -u eventlog > eventlog.txt and generate a notepad with all the phone info to analyze it. but i don't have a phone in error 507 on heands. if you help me to get this eventlog and analyze it i promisse to post the solution or source code here.
