sl3 question (if we get 3000 home computers)

if i get 3000 home computers(not local (remote)) can we split a bruteforce like | computer 1 calculates code 1-100 | computer 2 calculates 100-200 | etc.. for fast calculating?

if this is possible ... we can calculate the codes in an hour or faster.

it is better to program a computer griding software (like BOINC).
With a secure credit and point system, it's the best method for fast and cheap unlocking.

This would be a nice project

u need just the decrypted hash from pm120 (using any tool), why ask for the method ?
if u can make bruteforce using 3K PC's what r u waiting to lunch your own server ??

i just need a good delphi coder who is good @ this kind of things(like oOXTCOo)... i got the pc's ready(remote)... just need the calculation methods etc...

I made a simple calcul, with normal PC's like Dual Core 2.6 GH + 1GO RAM, using 3000 PC's, time to check all SHA1 possibilities is arround 16 min Good time......

i'm still confused About DM3 server !! what config they use to break SHA1 in just few minutes (under 5 min) ???

Can you share this calculation?
I'm not sure you can with 3000 PC's get 16 min, so I'd like to know how did you get that number?

If finding one salt on GPU needs let's say 40 sec, how much does it need on regular CPU ?

About DM3, how do we know for sure they are really using BF? Is their device connected to internet while doing unlocking?

From my calculations, if you have 1000 computers with GPU which calculates one salt for 40sec, you'd need about 5 minutes for one phone.

normal PC : 5-7 minutes for salt ( my PC take 7-8 minutes but the bruteforcer is not optimized, and cpu is just running at 50%)

Can u get 1000 PC's with GPU ????? i'm talking about 3K normal PC's (without GPU)....

As I heard DM3 use GPRS connection.....

About normal PC I tested it a few months ago to see if i can use PC's or not (because here price of 1 GPU = 3 PC's)....1 PC need 02 months to unlock 1 phone

shure, its possible i do same with my servers.
splitting salt range or grab from salt pool.



every server grab the next salt wich is in the pool available,
if server take salt it must be deleted from pool.

because if you make salt range, not all pc's are with
same speed and others need to wait.

so if you ask me, i would do it per salt pool so
any computer can join on disconnect from network at anytime.

but if you ask me, iam not shure how to manage the 3000 pc's.
everyone from this 3000 also whant to unlock, so at the end
its again very mutch time to wait for everyone...
do you know what i mean?

if you just buy 1 super computer you have to wait 2 days.

and now calculate how long you need to wait if you whant
to unlock with the 3000 pc network, because everyone have
minimum 1 phone to unlock, server need to unlock 2999
phones till you can unlock your phone and lets say server
need 16 minutes per phone this is for 3000 phones how mutch?

and thats impossible..

are you shure 7 to 8 minutes?

i think not!
i need 11,50 minutes with a gforce gtx8800.

i dont know how mutch possible with i7 cpu,
but i dont think all 3000 pc's have i7 cpu...

with 2xhd5970 and some overclocking and sl3 kernel
of ocl it is possible to have 13 seconds per salt

tested today on Dual CPU E2180 2.00 GHz Ram : 2Go
displayed time is in seconds for 1 salt so 8,1 min !!

How u take 11 min using GPU for 1 salt ??? there is something wrong here !!
