Does anybody know if original SX-5 card unlock applet was updated for 20-digits codes?

If yes - Bad!

If not - was original applet be able to calculate codes with more than 15 digits (20 etc.) from the beginning?

If yes - Bad!

If not - Are additional 5 digits just added by a new version of Winlock software? If yes - there should be a connection between the first 15 digits from card applet and the addtional 5 digits. This would reduce possible codes.

Could anybody share newest Winlock software? Thanks in advance.

Nice thought!

If any of first two thought are reality, then people should forget this 20 digits Code unlocking. 99999x more time than of those 15 digits codes.

if they have a little brain, the nokia throw away the whole sx5 card thing and turn into a VPN with online calculating.

I have latest Winlock and I can assure you algo is diffrent (difrent hashtables) also in last step the result code is modulo 10 of full SHA-1 (sha-1 is 20 bytes), not truncated to 15 digits.

There is also 3 (or 4) diffrent algos for dct4....

Cards are not updated, they ship new cards loaded for apporiate algos...

Some codes take 7 minutes. Who have this solution?

I have solution. When phone has code ending with 3 or 2 zeroes, I have found many times the code in less than 5 minutes...
