Why using a BOX, if you already have a PC?

I still do not understand. Having all the necessary hardware in a PC, why you need to use a box to flash a phone ?. It will be a matter of marketing Z3X, Octopus and other manufacturers of these boxes? With only develop the necessary software and drives, the PC is able to do the same. I do not understand why it has not been developed. The electronic content of these boxes are no more than a PC.

Why you using a keyboard if have in ur pc screen keyboard ?

Not so stupid question, but here is the simple answer:
If you (nnyerges) can develop your own software for flashing & unlocking, It's OK, you can use only PC.,
but if you can't, that's the reason you need to buy some boxes.

boxes are necessary for two reasons

1- interface
2- protection

interface e.g USB to UART, or old Nokia protocol F-Bus/M-Bus or even LPT to F-BUS like old Griffin, Neelix etc.
it was necessary also to supply the device with power to put it in special mode (test/local mode), sync BSI

or to create JTAG/SPI interface in order to work with EMMC direct and bootloaders or even unlocking sagem's old school



as of protection, boxes use to hold smart card inside them or even AVR etc. now days we have few products on the market which is smart enough to use server side protection like chimera but they still need UART interface in some cases.
chimera team also give standalone protection lately for people who don't have internet 24/7

If HE decides, that his work, which was hundreds of hours of coding,

but if u see some soft wares don't need any box BUT they are bot safe at all!!!
1.they don't support you by any means like ODIN
2.the box company deal with phone company's some how to unlock phones
3.to protection of there own servers by ur box SN number and smart card
4.to protect you from hackers and bad flash files by zay website zat can read ur card
5.it makes simple evry tin
6.we are humans we have to have rule for evry tin
tha's why we use box(smart cards) instead of normal APP or just PC

while you are buy box... you are having strong and fast server for download firmware..no need to search in google uncle..

when you are buy box....you have technical support service,live support...from z3x team,gsm server team,furious team,infinity team,asan team and all

we are working in official samsung technical service at turkey and we are using z3x and octopus..its easy to use,faster,stronger and helpfull

he is good question if you try to understand ,reason newdays all box cracke available in google and and same FB ,we are all just destroyed our money extra

teams make box for
1-you will but, they will get money for their hard work
2-As interface
3-Software protection as smart card added into it
4-you will get tech support and download area,
5-These softwares made by teams are easy then officials one and they got many extra features too(like unlock and imei repair etc..)
