Acer Liquid Z2 Z120 IMEI invalid and no netword - GSM-Forum

Hi,

I have 2 pcs of Acer Z2 Z120 single sim with the message invalid IMEI. I fixed the IMEI using SigmaKey, but the phones do not detect the sim card and no network. I flashed using official firmware still same error.

Any way to fix this?

Have you got any news regarding the Z120? I have a single sim, z120 with the invalid imei as well. I have repaired the imei which has done absolutely nothing as far as I can tell, but the problem is the simlock. My box says it cannot find it, and I didn't backup the nvram before hitting the direct unlock button and causing this problem. p.s. NCKbox is the one I have, and I used the new 1.7 android module. Btw, when the imei is read, the last number that appears (5) is missing.

for Z120 single sim
Step 1
dual sim flash firmware (sdcard_update_1.007.00_WW_GEN1.zip) put sim card and has signal, two signals appear only one good and one bad
Step 2
Single sim flash firmware (Acer_Z120_Stock_ROM_v1.006.00.WW.GEN1S_A41J_A_Sing el_Sim_Card_En_Us_International_4.1.1_JB.zip) and has signal and works perfectly

is in recovery mode flash with sdcard (sdcard update)

1- Download this tool: Acer A1 DL TOOL
2- Extract the zip file into Desktop
3- Move the .bin file in the ACER_A1_Bin subfolder placed into A1_DL_Tool_[Intra][Single]_v3.100_20091027 folder
4- Connect your phone (it must be turned ON) to your PC
5- Run the “ACER Download Tool [Single] executable (If you're using Vista/7 you must run it in compatibility mode,with administrator privileges)
6- Click the BROWSE button and search for the .bin file you previously put into ACER_A1_Bin folder
7- Click START, and remember, DO NOT stop the flashing process, DO NOT unplug your device, or you'll have a very expensive and NOT WORKING piece of plastic and steel on your desk
