Here are few notes on the bootanimation.zip:

In order to have a working bootanimation you must have a file called desc.txt (as described below) and you need one or two directories for your bootanimation's png's in the .ZIP file. Bootanimation.zip is a NON compressed (stored) archive! If you compress the zip, the tablet will show a blank screen.

desc.txt:

854 480 24
p 1 0 part0
p 0 0 part1

desc.txt description:

854 = stretched width of the animation (in this case for 7")
480 = stretched height of the animation
24 = fps (frames per second)
p = part
1 – 1 loop
0 – infinite loop
part0 - directoryname part0
part1 – directoryname part1

NOTE: The bootanimation.zip goes in the /system/media folder

1) copy your boot animation named "bootanimation.zip" to sd via pc

2) on tablet use app such as root explorer and open it then scroll down to sd/sd1 and locate the bootanimation.zip

3) long-press it to bring up options screen then select "copy"

4) press back button until you reach root directory of tablet (/ at top)

5) locate in root directory of tablet - /system/media and then tic "paste
